We are restricted to a party of 50 and so far we have 46 names down on the list in the Bower. Should we achieve 50 names then thereafter further names will be on a waiting list.
Just a reminder that a £50 deposit is required from everyone who already have their names down and should be paid to the Tour Treasurer, Pat Backhouse, at either the September or October Coffee Mornings.
Coffee Mornings - 3rd September & 1st October
In respect of the Monthly Draw and the Joker which take place each Coffee Morning can I also remind members who participate that both annual subscriptions are due on the 1st October. The subscription for the Monthly Draw of £12 should be paid to Secretary John Sibley and the subscription for the Joker of £12 should be paid to John Proctor. In respect of both competitions members who do not participate at the moment are most welcome to join in.
Finals Day & Other Finals
Finals Day on Saturday 13th August was one of the hottest days of the year yet produced two excellent matches despite the conditions. David Stobo won the Men's Final against John Sibley and Irene Scott the Ladies Final against Ann Smith. Congratulations to both winners. Congratulations also to David Stobo for also winning the Bryden Cup, the James Trophy, the Men's Pairs, and he and Lesley Hewson are also in the Mixed Pairs final which is still to be played.
